Here are a couple photos of Robert McD and Myself at the DVD start and top of the hillclimb. To add an element of "manly manness" to the undertaking, we camped out in Death Valley the night before and after the ride and Bob did it with a sick cold! 13.5 hrs to complete, the weather was great and we even saw a couple doing some panier touring on the same road, wonder if they rode all the way to Death Valley, that would be HARDCORE! I will try to add the route map for anyone interested.
